LAUDERDALE, FLA. – The third-ranked (third-seeded) Nova Southeastern Women's Tennis team continued play at the Sunshine State Conference Championship Tournament, facing the sixth-ranked (two-seeded) Embry-Riddle Eagles. The Sharks defeated the Eagles 4-0 in the semifinals to move to the conference finals for the first time since the 2023 season.

- Kristyna Hranacova dominated Laura Cuesta Bret with a straight-set win, 6–2, 6–2.
- Ita Habekovic quickly secured NSU's first point with a commanding 6–1, 6–1 victory over Aik Maissane.
- Julia Moraes completed a strong 6–2, 6–4 win over Carla Cabero del Hie.

Nova Southeastern returns to the courts tomorrow, Sunday, April 27th, to face #1 seed Barry University in a 2024 National Championship rematch for the Sunshine State Conference Tournament title in West Palm Beach, FL, at Mitch Gornto Tennis Center.
